WHY THIS FOUNDATION WAS CREATED
The journey of Mirza Zaheer and Naseema Maroof
Here at The Maroof Foundation, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our foundation began in 2022, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to raise funds in order to provide scholarships for girl's from the villages in India. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.  Every year we plan to donate to organizations and schools that support the education of these underprivileged girls.  We hope to continue these efforts, and expand our work into donating to students in the US, and other countries.  This foundation was created on behalf of my parents', who immigrated to the US from India in 1970.  They both came from rural villages in India, and with scholarships, they were able to achieve their goals academically, which allowed them to be successful professionals in the US.  Their dream was to give back to the country they left behind.  This foundation hopes to manifest their dream, and to create a larger impact both in India and the US.

BUILDING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
Helping girls in India receive the education they deserve.
By collecting donations from the community, our goal is to provide girls from the villages of India receive scholarships, and resources that will help them achieve their high school and college degrees. Â This is intended to help those girls who would otherwise not be able to receive an education, and complete both high school and college.

FUTURE MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS
Building a mentorship program
Not only do we hope to collect donations, we plan to create a mentorship program, which can connect established, professional women with young aspiring professionals.
